Curious Little Sister Cuts for Purpose is the first project initiated by the Stadsredactie of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. Cut for Purpose is an exploration in collaboration with Stealth.[u]ltd (www.stealth.ultd.net), which examines how urban dynamics can find their way to the museum space. From February 16 until April 23, a grid of more than man-sized cardboard sheets, placed fifteen centimetres apart, fills the entire Street Gallery. Within this structure, during a course of nine weeks, spaces will be purpose-cut to house a variety of activities. These activities will establish a series of spatial interactions based on a set of guidelines for the creation of spaces. Besides cutting or transforming, spaces can also be shared or occupied.
